Composition of the Mattress
Made up of of 2000 individual pocket springs which work independently of each other and conform well to the natural contours of your body bringing a generous layer of support throughout your sleep.
The 30% silk & 70% cashmere bonded blanket fillings of this mattress brings a layer of luxury as well as coolness and comfort. The cashmere has been naturally sourced in the UK and the ultra-fine hairs have incredible insulating and moisture wicking properties, which allow for exceptional temperature regulation in both the winter and summer months. The silk fillings gives high absorption capacity which makes it ideal for dissipating heat and humidity in bed. In fact, it is able to absorb moisture almost a third of its weight. These fillings are also finished evenly on both sides of the mattress, which means the mattress should be flipped and rotated regularly throughout the year (seasonal is recommended) this ensures the guarantee of the mattress and makes sure the mattress has even distribution of weight.
Finishing Touches
The finishings of this mattress are of high quality, with its hand tuft finish and 3 rows of genuine hand side stitching which keeps all the fillings in place and prevents lumps, bumps and sagging. Air vents can be found on the sides of the mattress to ensure the mattress has full range of air circulation keeping our mattress fresh.
Royal Connection
This mattress has been given its name by its relative connection from the fillings to British Royal history and its creator and family at Bennetts Bedrooms. Princess Alexandra of Wales made silk very fashionable as she was the first member of the royal family to be photographed in her wedding dress in 1863, which was completely comprised of silk.
